Another view of Brookfield Farm taken in Weston Road itself. Brookfield Farmhouse still looks almost the same today as it did on this postcard, although it has long ceased to be a working farm. However, the barn on its right has gone and also the front garden and its wall. These disappeared when the road was widened. The road leading off front-right is Highlands Road. The curved high wall and trees seen on the right following the line of the road were reduced in size or removed, respectively, when the war memorial was erected there after the First World War.
