Italianate villa with tower. Designed by Charles Verelst. Rendered with slate roof. Originally home of Thomas Johnson, then Charles Hazlehurst and Francis Boston before becoming Town Hall in 1930s. Supposedly built in the style of Osborne house, Queen Victoria's house on the Isle of Wight
